CT RideNet Establishing Ambassador Program for Seniors
CT RideNet is establishing an Ambassador program for seniors. This program will provide opportunities for seniors to provide services for others and create a ride bank.

Seniors can be a local ambassador of CT RideNet.   As an Ambassador, seniors become a local resource for riders.  The ambassadors may provide community outreach and education or assistance with rides as a certified driver.

Another feature of the Ambassador program is a "ride credit" that can be  "banked".  These credits can be accumulated to use personally or to donate to others.

A unique feature of the ride credit program is the ability to be used anywhere.  For example an Ambassador in Minnesota can use ride credits to purchase taxi transportation for a relative in Florida.  The trip would be setup with RideNet through an affiliate and funds would be transferred electronically.  There is a transaction fee for the service.

Ride credits can also be purchased in a fashion similar to a debit card transaction.  The Ride Credit program is open to anyone.
