In 2007, Sherburne County contracted with RideNet to provide a ride referral service and to provide a "ride of last resort".  RideNet provides agencies and individuals with a simple "One call or click" service to connect them with transportation options.  The county contract reimburses RideNet for rides if a referral cannot be made.  However, by researching eligibility and utilizing existing public and private resources, RideNet has not needed to provide any rides directly since the beginning of the contract.  In times of reduced budgets and services, RideNet is proud to provide additional services to citizens with no impact on the county budget.  For more information call 800-450-6100.
